Technical support
A service provided to service agencies across the Kingdom, such as telecommunications, electricity, and water companies, allowing those who represent them within project coordination offices to apply for a permit for excavation works within cities, with the aim of coordinating with the rest of the agencies before digging and providing a public utility service.
Procedures and steps for implementing the service
-The representative of the service entity selects one of the excavations that have previously been coordinated (for which a multiple coordination report has been issued) and for which no drilling permit is issued after logging in to the Baladi platform.
-The representative of the service entity fills out and sends a request to issue a previously coordinated excavation permit after ensuring the validity of all data,
-Rreviewing the service requirements, acknowledging that it is read and adhering to it.
-Drill and notice the applicant and can print the permit.
Service implementation requirements
-A multiple format report containing fossil data is required before submitting this application.
-The service entity must identify its representatives within the Infrastructure Projects Coordination Office (users are identified and powers are linked electronically).
-The service entity must define its work team within each coordination office in each secretariat (a number of classified contractors, consultants, and supervisors).
-The following requirements apply to work team members (contractors/consultants/supervisors) before registering them in a drilling permit application:
-Commercial records for both the main contractor and subcontractors must be valid and activated throughout the period of excavation work until the issuance of the clearance certificate. This is verified upon receipt of requests (issuance request - extension request - closure request......).
-Both the main contractor and subcontractors must have a city service provider classification certificate that is valid for the duration of the excavation work (the contractor can apply for a city service provider classification certificate from the following link: click here).
-Both the main contractor and subcontractors must be internally qualified in the trust within whose supervisory scope they are required to work.
-The commercial records of both the main consultant and sub-consultants must be valid and active throughout the period of the excavation work.
-Both the main consultant and the sub-consultants must have a city service provider classification certificate that is valid for the duration of the excavation work (the consultant can apply for a city service provider classification certificate from the following link: click here).
-The service entity must sign a service level agreement with the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing.
-The permit application must be submitted sufficiently in advance of the planned excavation to allow for notice of traffic and payment of fees (at least 30 hours before the planned excavation begins).
-The service entity submitting the request is obligated to review the application and confirm the accuracy of its data before sending it.
